A short sketch that turned into a new work – themed “haunted weather” I’m using a mixture of field recordings, instrumental scoring and processing to create soundscapes that seem to morph between “composed” and “unfolding” in time. Here I pitch my instrumental parts to elements in the field recordings like traffic, birds, wind sounds or water. Sometimes even I forgot what is an instrument, or a truck idling near the microphone.
